A little something we've been saving for a while, and a fitting way to mark this momentous milestone. Centurions adheres to many of the elements often present in your 1980s toy cartoons but it's central gimmick is strong enough to make it stand out from the crowd. Cool technology, a loveable main cast and a whole lot of explosions add up to a wonderful trip down memory lane, not to mention the show's hopeful tone and bright outlook that science will ultimately save this planet is just what we need in a modern, more cynical era.

When you ask the guys who made Scooby Doo to create a cartoon for you odds are it's gonna involve mystery solving teens, and sure enough that happens here. But mystery solving teens led by Mr T? That might have legs Joe! Wretched animation and a quickly worn out premise do the show no favours, but getting to watch cartoon Mr T beat up on smugglers / ghost pirates / Panthermen and live action Mr T dispense his worldly wisdom provides some amusing novelty for a little while.

Man, what can we say about this beauty of a cartoon? Odds are you're already aware of Superman and have seen it so you already know how crazy good it is! Unsurprisingly we are filled with naught but praise for another jewel in the DC Animated Universe crown. Watch it or indeed rewatch it if you haven't indulged in a while. Man, what is with us and talking for so long about old badly made cartoons?  We should really be riding their asses hard and this time is no exception (up to a point). But just like Birdman the early animated incarnation of the Avengers has wormed its way into our hearts by sheer virtue of tripped out craziness, ham acting and killer theme tunes. Maybe that's the REAL Secret of the Sailor Madness (it's not). Enjoy in small doses, or better yet just listen to the audio. It works quite well!
